Tir na n'Og - Paul Young - Vegetables, Chicken

18535 Eagle Avenue, Farmersburg, IA

Tir na n’Og is Irish for “Land of the Young” (pronounced "cheer na og" ) . Located in Clayton County, about 7 miles north of Elkader, and 8 miles south of Monona on CR X16, I grow vegetables on about 2 acres of my 12+ acres farm; the rest is used for pasture and hay for my small fold of Highland cattle. I joined GROWNLocallyin 2005, growing a wide variety of vegetables while waiting for my asparagus fields to mature. In 2009, I will be expanding my asparagus fields and am putting in some blueberries and pie cherries. I recently started up a web site for the farm, www.tnofarm.com, where you can learn more about the farm and see what vegetables are in season.

Visitors are welcome! 1/2 mile N Gunder Road on X-16
